Deruta Tiles by Svetlana Grebennikova - Crochet Blanket - 7 week online course with support - ADVANCED - 6th Jan 2025

What you can expect to get from this course:

An advanced online course to make a ''Deruta Tiles' crochet blanket - designed by Svetlana Grebennikova who has kindly given me permission to teach this class. In the 7 weeks we will create the crochet squares, join them and edge them:

• Week 1: Rounds 1-6
Week 2: Rounds 7-10
Week 3: Rounds 11-14
Week 4: Rounds 15-18
Week 5: Rounds 19-22
Week 6: Joining the squares
Week 7: Edging the blanket

*  You will be invited to a Whatapp group where you can chat to the other people on the course, if you wish to. We can share our photos and inspire each other along. 

*  Every week at a set time you will be sent a link to a video, these are not public videos and must not be shared. You can watch the video in your own time and complete the crochet at any point during the week.

*  You will also be sent a PDF version of the pattern to go along side the video, again, this is for you only and must not be shared. You can download this to your own computer or phone to keep forever. It can be printed off too if you prefer to use it that way.

*  I will be on hand to answer any questions you may have, I might not always be able to reply straight away but I will get back to you.

* The price quoted of £35.00 is for a group glass, if you would prefer private lessons I can do this on a one-to-one basis, at your own pace, for £45.00.

* You will need: 

Each square is 26cm big (approx) – so decide how large out would like your blanket to be.
16 squares (4 x 4) would give you a blanket of 104 x 104cm (6 x 100g balls)
20 squares (4 x 5) would give you a blanket of 104 x 130cm (8 x 100g balls)
30 squares (5 x 6) would give you a blanket of 130 x 156cm (12 x 100g balls)

(I recommend Stylecraft Special). A 4.50mm hook and a yarn sewing up needle.
