Summer Windmills Crochet Blanket - 7 week online course with support - INTERMEDIATE - 13th Jan 2025

What you can expect to get from this course:

An intermediate online course to make a 'Summer Windmills' crochet blanket. In the 7 weeks we will create the mosiac crochet squares, join them and edge them:

• Week 1: Rounds 1-6
• Week 2: Rounds 7-10
• Week 3: Rounds 11-14
• Week 4: Rounds 15-17
• Week 5: Rounds 18-20
• Week 6: Joining
• Week 7: Edging

This is an intermediate course, if you can confidently crochet a Granny Square, you can do this!
*  You will be invited to a Whatapp group where you can chat to the other people on the course, if you wish to. We can share our photos and inspire each other along. 

*  Every week at a set time you will be sent a link to a video, these are not public videos and must not be shared. You can watch the video in your own time and complete the crochet at any point during the week.

*  You will also be sent a PDF version of the pattern to go along side the video, again, this is for you only and must not be shared. You can download this to your own computer or phone to keep forever. It can be printed off too if you prefer to use it that way.

*  I will be on hand to answer any questions you may have, I might not always be able to reply straight away but I will get back to you.

* The price quoted of £30.00 is for a group glass, if you would prefer private lessons I can do this on a one-to-one basis, at your own pace, for £45.00.

* You will need: 

Each square is 22cm big + seams (approx) – so decide how large out would like your blanket to be.

16 squares (4 x 4) would give you a blanket of 88 x 88cm  (7 x 100g balls – 4 which should be colour B)

20 squares (4 x 5) would give you a blanket of 88 x 110cm (9 x 100g balls – 5 which should be colour B)

30 squares (5 x 6) would give you a blanket of 110 x 132cm (13 x 100g balls – 7 which should be colour B)

Stylecraft Special DK  is my preferred choice, or any DK of your choosing

I would recommend a very DARK or very PALE colour for Colour B (Black, Dark Blue, Dark Purple, Dark Green etc,..white, cream, silver) and two shades of the same colour for colour A

You can change colour A within the squares if you like, but keep colour B the same throughout.
