I am pleased to be able to offer Lampworking Tuition from my workshop in Carlisle, I have been Lampworking since 2007 and have taught from my own workshop and at Higham Hall in Cumbria.

We will be using a dual gas torch to learn how to melt glass and make some pretty beads.

You can choose how many hours you would like to work, as scheduled below. You do not need any equipment, just enthusiasm!

The beads will be annealed in the kiln ready for collection or postage a couple of days after the session.

Prices are £30.00 per hour booked on a one-to-one basis.  Please email info@suesimmons.co.uk for more details or to arrange your time.

I booked the full 4 hour lampwork class with Sue and had a fab day. The time flew by, learning a number of different techniques and making lots of different beads. I'm so excited to see how they turn out when they have cooled fully. I found it very therapeutic watching how the glass melted and created the beads..the only bad side is I now want to buy all the stuff so I can do it at home 🤣.
