What you can expect to get from this course:

A 10 week course to learn to Knit. In the 10 weeks we will cover:

• Week 1: How to cast on with two needles and the thumb method.
• Week 2: How to knit Garter Stitch and how to cast off.
• Week 3: How to Purl (stocking stitch).
• Week 4: Putting Knit and Purl together to create different stitches.
• Week 5: Increasing and Decreasing.
• Week 6: Holes and Buttonholes.
• Week 7: Understanding patterns and pattern practise.
• Week 8: Cable Knitting.
• Week 9: How to sew up seams and squares.
• Week 10: Knit a hat!

*  You will be invited to a Whatapp group where you can chat to the other people on the course, if you wish to. We can share our photos and inspire each other along. 
*  Every week at a set time you will be sent a link to a video, these are not public videos and must not be shared. You can watch the video in your own time and complete the crochet at any point during the week.
*  You will also be sent a PDF version of the pattern to go along side the video, again, this is for you only and must not be shared. You can download this to your own computer or phone to keep forever. It can be printed off too if you prefer to use it that way.
*  I will be on hand to answer any questions you may have, I might not always be able to reply straight away but I will get back to you.
* You will need to commit to a little homework if you want to complete your course – if you cannot find time to do the knitting practise, then you will never have time to do the craft itself!

* The price quoted of £40.00 is for a group glass, if you would prefer private lessons I can do this on a one-to-one basis, at your own pace, for £60.00.

* You will need:  2 different colours of DK yarn (no variegated yarns, red, white or very dark colours – mid range shades are best) 4.00mm pair of knitting needles, a 4.00mm cable needle, and a yarn sewing up needle.
