Twisted Granny Crochet Blanket - 14 week online course with support - ADVANCED - 4th Nov 2024

What you can expect to get from this course:

An online course to make a Twisted Granny crochet blanket. In the 14 weeks we will make 10 different patterned squares, join them and edge them:  This course relies on you keeping up with the schedule to complete the blanket. Some weeks cannot be skipped.

• Week 1: Square 1 (make 8)
• Week 2: Square 2 (make 8)
• Week 3: Square 3 (make 9) & join the squares
• Week 4: Edging the 9 block
• Week 5: Square 4 (make 8) and add the corners
• Week 6: Square 5 (make 8)
• Week 7: Square 6 (make 8)
• Week 8: Square 7 (make 8)  join strips and add to blanket
• Week 9: Edging the large block, add in the corners
• Week 10: Square 8 (make 8)

• Week 11: Square 9 (make 8)

• Week 12: Square 10 (make 8)

• Week 13: Join strips and add to blanket

• Week 14: Final Edging

*  You will be invited to a Whatapp group where you can chat to the other people on the course, if you wish to. We can share our photos and inspire each other along. 

*  Every week at a set time you will be sent a link to a video, these are not public videos and must not be shared. You can watch the video in your own time and complete the crochet at any point during the week.

*  You will also be sent a PDF version of the pattern to go along side the video, again, this is for you only and must not be shared. You can download this to your own computer or phone to keep forever. It can be printed off too if you prefer to use it that way.

*  I will be on hand to answer any questions you may have, I might not always be able to reply straight away but I will get back to you.

* You will need to commit to a little homework if you want to complete your blanket – 2 medium squares a week.

* The price quoted of £56.00 is for a group glass, if you would prefer private lessons I can do this on a one-to-one basis, at your own pace, for £80.00.

* You will need: 

11 x 100g balls of DK yarn in (1 of 6 different colours, 2 of another and 3 x main colour)

OR

12 x 100g balls (4 of each colour)   (I recommend Stylecraft Special DK yarn).
